On August 18th, 2022, HWPL (Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Right) hosted the webinar “The Dialogue to promote the Protection of Human Rights in relation to Russia-Ukraine War”. The webinar was held to raise awareness of the situation of human rights in the war in Ukraine and find the way to protect human rights. Two human right activists Ms. Sonja Biserko and Ms. Abida Pehlic who have been working on human right issues on the ground for many years gave the main presentations. African Human Rights “Peace: An Instrument for Democracy and Sustainable Development”

On August 27th, under the theme of , a webinar was held by an international peace NGO, Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) and it dealt with various human rights issues caused by election violence. At this webinar, where 15 people of politicians, lawyers, NGOs, and journalists from Kenya gathered, participants particularly focused on the problem left to Kenyan in this era where the president election is still going on and speakers addressed the attitude of each positions to keep for building true democracy and after the presentation, it also had a Q&A time where attendees and speakers talked each other about the speeches freely. Under the theme of ‘Peace as an Institution: A Foundation for Sustainable Development’, this summit introduced a series of action plans and cases that contribute to institutionalizing peace as a form of norm, culture, or law in each society, which serves as a foundation for the global community to achieve the goal of sustainable development for co-existence and co-prosperity. And all these efforts are based on the principles of peace contained in the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW), proclaimed with the participation of experts in international law. On August 27, HWPL Peace Educator Training Completion Joint Ceremony was held online with Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. Two educators from Uganda, 32 educators from Kenya, and one educator from Tanzania attended this HWPL Peace Educator Training Completion Ceremony. Documentary on International Cooperation for Peace in Mindanao Premieres in the Philippines

  A documentary film about the international peacebuilding efforts for Mindanao in the Philippines, one the world’s long-term conflicts sparked by violence that left over 120,000 deaths and millions of displaced persons since the 1960s was released and screened in the Philippines. In celebration of the National Peace Consciousness Month, a peace documentary titled “Great Legacy” premiered in a cinema in Davao City on the evening of September 6, 2022. Around 500 representatives from the government, education sector, media, as well as civic society leaders, religious leaders across the country and peace advocates from Mindanao have attended.
